When you ask Matt about why he joined Colony, the answer is straight-forward and simple: “strong leadership that prioritizes people, culture, and personnel development in pursuit of an aggressive growth strategy within established, as well as new, business opportunities.”  As the Director of Portfolio Planning, he works as part of the project management function, touching all aspects of a project from scope/budget development to day-to-day production and installation.

For him, the most rewarding part of his position is supporting the development of his employees as they plan, mitigate, and deliver to the customer’s expectations.  “The entire team is extremely passionate about flawless execution and devoted to continuous improvement both personally and professionally,” Matt says. “it makes for a fun work environment.”   

Married to his high school sweetheart, Matt and his wife share three grown children together.  In his free time, he enjoys relaxing with friends and family on the lake.  He shares a personal passion for helping people and measuring success by his ability to do so, both individually and as part of a team.
